Unemployment low because ‘Everyone has 2 jobs’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stated during a PBS Firing Line interview: “Well, unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs. Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids.”

Too bad that Miss Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic nominee for New York’s 14th Congressional District, doesn't know that holding two or more jobs, has no bearing upon the rate of employment. Nor does she seem to know that only about 5% of the population works more than one job.

She also has the belief that America was not pro-capitalist at its inception. Hmmmmmm.

All this was just as good as her stated position about Israel being occupiers of Palestine, before her finally admitting that she had no idea what she was talking about.

By the way, she graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in 1. economics and 2. international relations. Money well spent, indeed.
