Why Christianity, even if its fake, will not disappear

All people desire to be important in the fabric of Creation (or in the Universe). When they cannot find the justification on why they are important then people tend to believe almost anything out there if its providing them with the needed justification for their importance. And what more important justification and promise exist than what Jesus offers?

It does not matter if Jesus actually lived and died the way the Bible shows. Once there is a chance for Jesus to be God, the possibilities are immense, unlimited even. All people will like a piece of that promise. God took interest in us so much that He came to talk to us on the streets and to show Himself as compassionate towards us. Each and one of us.

This is very tempting and no one will remain immune to this temptation. Not when we are so weak and flawed and with a ridiculous small span of life. I mean what else is as important in one's life? Nothing! So what if God or Jesus might not be real? Our EGO cannot stay in a world where we are just some sort of moving stones going up and down a hill with no impact whatsoever on this Universe on a grand scale.

Due to our ego and self importance, I know that Christianity will not disappear because our hunger for intimacy with a Being that can satisfy our ego is not to be questioned for any reason, and especially for a reason as insignificant as if it's all real or not.
