Hello! from New Zealand

Hello there,
I'm from New Zealand, just a few years shy of thirty and I'm looking forward to becoming a member of the posting population here. I'm going to hang back a bit first to get the run of things and pick up on how things are and then I'll gradually wade in.

I grew up on a farm and spent most of my life on and off them though now I'm living in a city. I've had an interest in being prepared for any eventualities and the awful earthquakes that destroyed a city in the southern island here in New Zealand really piqued that interest. I've been putting together the things I need as well as a bug out bag the last year and a bit. Acquiring whatever I can.
