Cotton Batting For Char Cloth

Has anyone tried Wrap-N-Zap 100 Percent Natural Cotton Batting (Pellon WZ-2210) to make char cloth?

I just ordered three 22" x 10 yd bolts from http://ift.tt/1N7I9Dh, for what appears to be a fantastic price compared to Amazon.
