Newbie from Down Under

Hello all,

Just a newbie from Down Under, with some serious (or typically not so serious) interests in -

• Canada (USA a close second!)
• Cold Climates
• Temperate/Cold/Alpine Rainforersts & Snow (don't like Summer!)
• AFL - http://www.afl.com.au/
• Bushball/Woodsball
• Hiking
• Swimming (but hate the heat - go figure?)
• Politics & the Environment - I don't consider myself a "Leftist", but a "Realist" (but respect everyone's right to their opinion) - very, very strong advocate for http://steadystate.org/.
• Movie lover....the "UHF" of the film world - http://ift.tt/1md33Qz.
• Love tinkering about with home-smoked meats.

I hope not to annoy anyone or step on anyone's toes, where I may even be able to offer some suggestions and advice.
