Anyone ever looked into using one of those pre fabricated sheds as a basic/starter structure for a BOL? I was getting an oil change done a few weeks ago and the shop (like a lot of businesses in rural places) has a sideline where they sell pre fab sheds and garages. I was looking at the brochure and saw the prices were quite good for a garage, so went out and looked at one they had on site. It's basic two by four construction with a metal roof, but they offer some pretty good snow load features as well. They have various sizes and options, including doors and windows.
Certainly it's unfinished inside and lacks insulation. But getting a structure to start with that's 14 x 20 for six or seven thousand dollars seems like a quick and easy way to get a structure up at a BOL.
Any thoughts?
