Why are leftists so quick to use violence?

Yesterday leftists supporting a gender neutral bathroom grew angry at people protesting this policy, and began throwing objects at them, then attacked the protestors and began fighting with them.

I don't really care about this bathroom issue, but an observation:

Street protests/marches have been the bailiwick of the left for decades, yet we are seeing more and more often the right beginning to use this form of protest. Conversely, we also see leftists outraged at these right-wing protesters, and they often resort to violence against the right wing protesters:

The leftist counter-protestors usually have the support of the mainstream media in these issues, which is why we are only seeing this reported on a local radio station's website.

We are seeing a mirror image of the 1960s, where rightwingers often attacked Vietnam protestors or others on the left during their protests, with the complicit support of the authorities and the mainstream media. The right back then felt justified, calling the leftist protestors traitors who were trying to tear down the country. Leftists today feel the same as justification for disrupting protests by the right.

Intersting, how history is often mirrored...

Let's block ads! (Why?)
