I transplanted mine in spring /early summer ,,,but they were pretty basically bare root stock that was only out of the ground for a day or so at most ,,but if kept moist even bare roots can be kept several days at least ,,I started mine with under 20 starts and after letting them grow few[two I think, might of been three] seasons I transplanted a 100 foot row of them and could do it easily again from the same propagation bed
if I was moving in the fall I would try keeping the dirt /roots as much in clumps as I could ,,and if your moving to make things easier I would build /dig a propagation bed for them ,,,,basically dig a trench ,,set the roots in and cover with good soil,,,that should carry them for a season or so easy ,, then transplant where you want them later on ,,,
