"Death" caused by poor communications.

The phonetic alphabet is a step towards clear accurate communications. We have as a common interest our survival during and after a disruptive event. Some talk of groups as being important to enhancing the probability of survival. The theory being that in groups there is strength.

There is a lot of discussion about what skills and/or assets the individual brings to the group, to enhance not only the groups survival, but also that individuals survival.

We spend a massive amount of time talking about the best firearms, knives, survival theories, survival locations, and the ever popular (BOB) bug out bag.

You would think that clear communications would be of huge importance with-in a group, but it is rarely if ever listed or discussed as important.

As a commercial pilot I appreciate the importance of "Perfect" communications between pilot and (ATC) Air Traffic Control. Lives depend on those instructions.

Just think of the hundreds of miscommunications that can happen with-in a survival group which could result in the death of many or the entire group.

This is the third thread I have started on the subject of communications. It is important now, during, and deathly important after a catastrophic event.

Now back to BOB's and GHB's, survival guns and survival knives...........
