Wildfire two miles away ... hope we don't have to bug out!

New fire two miles from our home. Forest Service is hitting it with everything they've got; I think every slurry bomber and chinook in the region is hitting it with water/retardant, and they've got a type one incident team on the way.

For those who know the area, it started at the headwaters of Perley Creek.

Winds are not currently blowing in our direction, but they're supposed to shift tomorrow. Hopefully they'll have a handle on it by then. I'm not too worried yet, but I also just added my work uniforms to my bug out bag just in case. (Day job requires a uniform -- and even if I'm living out of a hotel, I still gotta go to work. Sigh.)

Tomorrow morning I'm going to walk through the house and property and photograph everything so we have recent records of our stuff. Just in case.
