dog bowl for cooking

For the backpack.
Just your standard stainless steel dog bowl, about 6 ounces weight, very sturdy, cheap, holds generally 2 -3 cups water.

Sort of like a super Sierra cup, good for boiling. Like a wok, excellent for stir fry meats and veggies. (use wood chopsticks, good for stir frying, skewers for roasting meats too, even use for tent stakes. Very light and free.)
Bowl can sit directly on coals. If lid needed can use aluminum foil.

I have a small grill, weighs very little, which can snap over the top, bowl is then fire bowl if needed. ONLY if needed, who can't find rocks, bricks, 3 supportive sticks, or make Dakota hole fire? Maybe can drill 3 small holes in rim and suspend over stick tripod? (haven't tried that though)

I use my bowl with a pot lifter, small pliers or visegrip good too.
