9th Circuit gets another Trump-picked judge

While this might not get a lot of discussion here, just a little PSA that President Trump is pushing ahead with nominations to the 9th Circuit and the Senate is confirming them.

Am very glad to see the President has not forgotten the disgraceful manner in which Feinstein and Harris both behaved during the Kavanaugh inquisition. As much as I hope they had learned their lesson I doubt they have.

Personally, I don't care what Patty Murray has to say. She is not very smart, and, if you look at her career prior to politics, she was a community college teacher whose position had been eliminated because of low enrollment.

Democrats have set the tone. Nice to see the Republicans standing up on occasion. President Trump gets 4 more conservatives on the bench that will be a marked improvement. With 29 active judgeships there are a possible 8 retirements over the next few years. Those justices were born as early as 1934 to as late as 1949. Of those, only two were appointed by a Republican; both by Bush 43.

Not hard to see why Democrats could fear a second Trump term.
