Vacuum Sealing Seasoned Rice entends the shelf life how long?

I spent some time in Wally World today as someone suggested looking at prepackaged Knorr Rice and Pasta's that you just add water to and eat.

The nutritional content of some of this stuff is not horrible but expiration dates are in the 12 month range.

The fact is that these meals are $1-$1.50 each vs Mountain House at $8-$9

The question is.....if I open these Knorr packages up and vacuum seal them and but an O2 absorber in...what type of shelf life can I expect? 3 years? 5 years?

These meals are just add water things to they have oils and powdered milk and egg product in them to some degree.

Thoughts?
