Alone II

There is a prequel out for the second season of Alone. It took place on Vancouver Island again, and the program introduced the 10 new participants and the selection process.

I think this is an interesting program. They have gone to some considerable length to weed out the weaker candidates. They actually did the same thing last time. It is hard for most people to imagine how difficult it is to make a long trip solo in an intense environment.

For variety, there are 3 women and a black guy. Of those four, I like the hot shot crew fire-fighter from Homer, Alaska.
