my two sons (glock 40acp and beretta 9mm) and brother (ruger & kimber 45acp) are bugging me to get one c.f. semiauto. i want something as easy as my ruger sr22 to fieldstrip and clean. i already stock and shoot 9mm and 45acp out of ruger single actions and bond arms derringers. im leaning towards a glock because it is simple and reliable, but having several rugers and bond arms i feel more secure with a steel not plastic piece. i want to stay under $500. im leery of taurus and third world (turkey, philippines, china) origin guns but am openminded. i need to stay 10 or under rounds due to where i roam. i already have pieces for ccw, though i could add this piece to my choices, it is not a deal breaker. more for range, home, woods walking.
is a glock in my future? advice kindly welcome! thanks!
is a glock best for a revolver guy?
