Removing an inground pool - what to do with the hole

My neighbor, a few houses down, is removing his inground pool - its sat, covered, for 7 years unused - he's tired of it sitting taking up space. He asked me, if it were my space, would I just fill it in or do something with it since there is already a 10 ft hole in the yard.

I played dumb, asked him what he'd do with a hole that deep if a pool wasn't in it - and said Id fill it in.

What would you all do with that hole?
