SHTF Amphibious Vehicles

I don't plan on using roads if SHTF or any disaster. A large portion of my town was once flooded in 2008. There were sinkholes in the road, houses collapsing into rivers, no city drinking water, flooded basements, and people getting sick from sewers over filling.

Roads were littered with flooded cars. Cars blocking roads. I can't rely on roads or even solid ground, but I want the capability to use them. That means no bridges.

I have decided a good BOV for me is amphibious. So far I have looked at airboats that have freewheel tracks or wheels, and the Argo utility vehicles.

What kind of ideas to you guys have to optimize the amphibious airboat, argo UTV, or some other amphibious vehicle platform that is reasonably attainable?
