150 years ago, the Democrat Party fought a war to preserve their right to keep black people as beasts of burden. The Republican party was founded to stop all of that. Now, here we are, 150 years later, and the Democrat Party has successfully portrayed the Republicans, not themselves, as the racists, despite 2 centuries to the contrary.

If you would like to know how they get away with it, just look at the kerfuffle over putting Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill. A black Republican woman with a gun who personally led slaves to freedom, and who is speaking out against her replacing a genocidal Democrat on our currency? The damned Republicans!
