3D printing gun receivers at home

Those cheap 3D printers use plastic only for parts production. You also must have the CAD drawings for it to work. Are you talking about toy guns?

There are both metal and plastic 3D printers. Metal ones are far more expensive and each only only uses one type of metal. Same with plastic, only one type of plastic at a time.

Some company in Texas is making 3D printed 1911's. Each printer makes only one part. Parts after being made have to be assembled by hand for complete gun.

3D printers do not use ink. They use plastic wire or metal wire, to melt into a part from what I have seen. Some use powder, metal or plastic.
