M577 Command Track and SUV Conversion..

My apologies, as I only have phone internet and can't post a picture from here. If someone can post pictures, I would greatly appreciate it.

Has anyone outfitted their SUV or other vehicle with a roll off tarp/shelter type of configuration?
I loved this vehicle during my Nat'l Guard service. It is "semi-static". If circumstances called for it, you could drive off with it attached..
I was thinking of a PVC frame, carried on the luggage rack and a heavy duty tarp to fit it.
I am just kind of kicking around ideas for camping, or bug out.. whatever.
Anyone have experience with this type of set up, or ideas?
