combine that with an effort for better ergos and ambidexterity it sounds like glock is desperate to "update" and remain top of the line, a lot of money spent on R&D, glock must feel there is a reasonable risk to losing money if they do not make better efforts to remain competitive.. what interests me is this looks like its nothing more than a new locking block and upper, so its only a very minor redesign that should still be compatible with most glock parts
