The Republicans (Trump included) are either morons or are intentionally trying to sabotage any chance of a tax reform package passing.

Only a freakin lunatic would put out a bill that INCREASES the lower rate from 10% to 12%.

It doesn't matter if it is offset by increased deductions or tax credits.

All that matters is that they have provided the Democrats with the opportunity to say that the Republicans are raising taxes on the poorest Americans!

Unbelievable!

It is, in my opinion, hard to imagine any worse way of handling tax reform.
