Trump Communication Strategy

I will admit that since January, I have been left confused and scratching my head many times at the "apparent" stupidity of the Trump Tweets and Press Conferences.

Most recently, Trump threw out.....

* Rocket Man
* NFL Players need to be fired

As I remember and look back, Trump actually seems to be very deliberate and calculated with "Shock Statements" with precise and exact timing.

What do you think? Is Trump and his communication team, truly brilliant in executing their strategy, using the imbecilic left-wing press as their ventriloquist puppet???

Is it intentional brilliance (a planned distraction) or complete stupidity?
