Reloading influence your ccw?

My cc weapon is an SDS-45 and I mostly like it. I reload for my target shooting, but carry factory loaded self defense rounds.

Here's the thing - I *HATE* picking up my brass scattered all over the ground. Every time I'm picking up my spent casings it makes me wonder whether I should ditch the semi-auto and go for a wheel gun.

You may be thinking - what does reloading have to do with the choice between pistol and revolver for CC? I want to be able to shoot my CCW a lot to maintain some level of proficiency. To shoot a lot, reloading makes the ammo more affordable. But to reload, I have to pick up the damn brass scattered all over the place.

I also shoot a 45 Colt revolver (single action) when I'm out at the range, and I don't have to bend down to pick up that brass. That's probably what made me think about it to begin with.
