Questions for reloaders 308 once fired brass

I have been looking into once fired 308 brass , but haven't really dived into any serious research yet, as I haven't had the time to do so.
Im hoping to save time and gain some knowledge from folks here.

A few questions:

1. It appears that once fired 308 brass and especially once fired 7.62x51mm brass is popular, as all 8 of the companies I looked into that sell it are out of stock. True or false?

2. Of those 8 companies, some claimed that thier sources for buying it were military as well as various shooting ranges. What say you?

3. 7.62x51mm once fired brass vs 308 commercial once fired brass. Which would you believe to be the more desirable brass for reloading?

4. Sorted by headstamp or mixed headstamp? Mixed seemed to cost around 8 to 10 bucks less. Is the saving worth it or not?

5. Nickel plated vs " yellow". Some companies had it priced higher while one of them stated it was possible in thier mixed headstamp bags. Thoughts?

6. If anyone here buys once fired brass, who do you buy it from and what do you pay for it? Contact info via the company would be helpful too.

7. For those that buy it, what is the overall condition of said brass when you receive it? Are you able to reload 100% of it, or end up culling a certain percentage?
