UPS golf carts for delivery

Seen it in years past,but forgot about it till I came home a little early and saw it again.
I'm in swfl,our neighborhood is older and laid out in a perfect grid.About 6 streets straight north/south and 20 avenues east/west.
Large UPS semi parks,and a few golf carts zip all around delivering packages.
Smart business plan,I'm sure they crunched the numbers and found it to be efficient and cost effective.

I'm guessing they do it in large apt.complexes,gated communities,and other high density areas.
