I might be interested in one since they shave off weight, use AK mags, and are easy to mount just about anything. They share a lot of components with the AR-15 but the lower and upper were designed around the 7.62x39 round.
They've been out a while and the prices have continued to drop over time. PSA has them for $599 now and I'm starting to see them for sale locally at lower prices or a similar price with extra magazines, ammo, etc.
Not quite as cheap as 5.56 ARs pulled together with parts off the interwebs, but they are in the same ball park as S&W, Ruger, and many other mid range starter brands out there.
I'm not interested in 5.56 at this time. Something like this would share existing magazines and a current pile of ammo, plus keep me in the same caliber as family members with crates of similar surplus ammo.
Anyone have a PSA KS-47?
