Keeping livestock warm during the Polar Vortex

I'm in Va. so it's not that bad here 12 degrees the other night, I broke up 4 bales of hay and piled it up for the 3 hogs and I put 4 heat lamps in the chicken house. The hogs were under the hay and the chicken house was about 45-50 degrees.
Those of you in the middle of the Vortex how are you keeping your chickens, hogs, and cattle alive in this? What about the water for them seems like it would just refreeze ever hour?
