What does being "Patriotic" mean to you?

To me, being patriotic means:
Living up to my multiple oaths to support and defend the Constitution and to protect and defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic, up to and including giving up my life if necessary;
Honor, revere, respect, and defend the U.S. flag and other symbols of my country, to include the Pledge of Allegiance, Star Spangled Banner, and saluting or placing the right hand over the heart;
Flying the U.S. flag every day;
Register for the draft (I did when I turned 18 a b'zillion years ago, even though as a female I was not required to do so; I still have letters from the Draft Board);
Register to vote, research/get informed on the issues and candidates, and vote in all elections (I did when I turned 18 and have never missed an election I was eligible to vote in);
Honor, revere, respect, and serve the veterans, first responders, and their families, who have given so much for my freedom;
Honor God and live in accordance with His statutes, including honoring, revering, respecting, and defending my elders and church workers, since He has blessed me with so much, simply by living in the United States;
Exercise my rights and freedoms by spreading the Gospel and being about the work of The Lord, including being willing to die for my faith.

If I had kids, I would have added bringing them up to be patriotic, Christian citizens, as well.
