If Mt. Vesuvius and Mt. Pelee erupt at the same time, residents of the West coast of the US have 90 days to evacuate before cataclysmic flooding occurs on the coast. Nevada will also be flooded.

I'm not saying that the eruptions will necessarily cause the flooding, only that the eruptions will mark the beginning of the 90 days prior to flooding.

Neither of those volcanoes are currently active, so if either become active it will be a big deal in the news and it's not likely the event will slip by you unnoticed.
