Alinco DX-SR8

Well, I got this radio on eBay in like new condition for $355.00.

TX/RX seems to be OK and good reviews on eHam.

Yes, I know I could have bought an IC-718 for slightly more, but this seems to be a good rig. Converted to MARS/CAP frequencies was easy by bridging two solder pads and doing a reset. (Function + Power On). Wideband receiver seems to work well.

Have yet to get this on the air and I'll report back once I do. This just seems to be a good basic radio that I'll use on 80/40 meters for regional comms. For the price it seemed like a good deal.
