Now searching on the forum site I've gotten a more then a helping amount of items I'm going to put together for my Bug out bag, as well as my EDC bag.
However aside from listing all of the supplies and skills, one thing has kind of caught my attention, especially from my last camping trip where it rained more then I cared for, is water resistant or water proof container for the first aid kit. Would it be worth the extra cash to invest in a watertight container like the Plano field boxes that are proven to be watertight by many reviewers? Or should I go more towards the budget route stick with a standard pouch and put the funds towards the larger things?
I have searched a bit on the DIY first aid kits and haven't really found this topic being covered. And if I've missed it my apologies.
