Decided to get some ducks

A guy that I know has these Indian Runner Ducks and offered to incubate some eggs for me. I never turn down a good deal so, I said sure.

I was amazed at how fast these thing grow and wound up building a duck house this past weekend for them. It will get a better roof in the near future and a large, fenced yard. They are only about 3 weeks old in the pictures.

So far they haven't been too much trouble and I do like to eat duck so, I think this will work out. Also, this breed is known for good egg production. I have never eaten a duck egg but, there is a first time for everything.
