Laminated shortbow (birch-juniper)

Birch (betula pubescens) and juniper (juniperus communis) glued together with Titebond III. Then I glued some ostrich leg sinew (approx 50 grams) on it's back with gelatine powder glue. I finished the bow like 1-2 months ago but recently made some changes and wrapped whole bow with birch bark.

The full draw picture has those siyahs which I removed later. It pulled somewhere around [email protected]", now after removing the siyahs I haven't weighted it yet but I think it's somewhere around [email protected]". Lenght 118cm.

Handle is made from brown leather.

It still has reflex after hundreds of shots. And the early draw weight is very high!

String is made from linen and covered with birch bark.
