Born Ohioan here.

Been living overseas the last 20 years (Saudi, Thailand, S. Korea to be specific) as a teacher.

I've got my sights on some plots for sale in Alaska and heading into the back country this summer to scope a few out, up close and personal.

New to this forum but not fora, exactly.

I'll have a look around and post a few questions.

Hoping some experienced off-gridder - homesteader - outdoor enthusiast - survivalists can help me with a few things.
