Looking for a used dual sport..what one?

Going to be selling my 250cc dirt bike and looking for a used dual sport. Im thinking late 90s and $2000 or less. Im looking for more of a street legal dirt bike than a supermoto style.
Im looking mostly at the yamaha xt, kawasaki klr or the honda xr. I think im missing a few models.
