I recently bought a cheap savage axis with a 22 inch barrel. I've plinked with it for a bit and reached out to about 250 yards give or take a few. It hits pretty good out to that range, I haven't tried it further. I wanna chop the barrel to 16 or 17 inches and my question is how much accuracy do you think I'll lose.
