Vintage/Antique Tractors vs Newer models

Hi y'all,

I'm trying to find the best small tractor for my homestead. I'm a young guy, and my soon-to-be-wife and I are just starting out.

I live in an area where there is a surplus of older tractors w/ front-end loaders going for about 5-10k (generally older fords and kubotas).

I should mention, all I will be using this tractor for is pulling a small turning plow, and running a tiller and bush-hog. (We have about 4 acres of workable land, rest is all hilly)

Is it worth dishing out the big money for the newer models, or should I just stick with the old reliables?
