Poor financial decisions

The fanciest pair of flip flops I ever bought cost $8. They had pretty golden fake gems and I nearly didn't buy them because I thought it was too much.

Today I looked at a house for sale- two bedroom, no basement, 60 yrs old, real wreck (handyman special). I tore down a better building than that on my back property several years ago and they wanted $100 K for this thing!
