Rabbit questionBack around Thanksgiving a white rabbit just showed up around the property and house, he-it not sure if male or female but it hung around all winter spring and most of the summer till late July then it disappeared- I figured something ate it or it died.
Last week a black rabbit showed up, same size body, long ears, same disposition, everything. The white 1 was missing a patch of fur on its neck and the black 1 is missing the same patch of fur.
Can or do rabbits change color, white to black?
It's a mighty strange coincidence. Also if it's someones pet do they neuter/spay pet rabbits? I'm worried it might cross breed my few wild brown rabbits.
