Hi all, I'm a City girl in SE Wisconsin who's planning on being rural (not wilderness) within a year if all goes well and figured it's a good time to start changing things up. My Dad was ex-military and took us primitive camping and...that's about the extent of my outdoor experience.

I was brought here through the "creepy stories" thread but have wandered around a bit and can see there is an infinite learning opportunity here, I'm naturally curious, and love to learn so I see an interesting community!
