A Customary Giveaway

For all those old schoolers who drive the 2007-2018 jeep Wrangler Jk/JKU this product is for you.

I'm not a vendor but I do have one of our custom Maglite flashlight relocation plates to give away. This giveaway is for all those 2007 - 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK & JKU without the plastic molded skirt of the Sahara draped down in front of the seat frame rail.

Several months ago we were given a set of the Maglite plastic clips from Grainger. I was thrilled at the hopes of being able to mount our 20+ year old flashlight so it would stop rolling around on the floor...

See what happened next via our community blog page:

Again this giveaway is for all those 3-D cell Maglite owners who need a new spot to locate and secure their flash lights. Ideally, we've mounted this plate bracket on the passenger side of our jeep. But long story short, one of the Maglite clips broke and we've been searching for a replacement.

As part of our rolling build, we've ordered 2 sets of the Rugged Ridge flash light clips, made from a sturdier material and will mont these clips on both of our plates. One plate will be remounted in our jeep and the other used as the giveaway mentioned.

Giveaway Rules:

  • Maglite is not affiliated with this contest/giveaway. Unless otherwise noted.
  • This giveaway does not include mounting hardware or screws as this is best left to the single winner to install, flat or round head screws or rivet would be suggested.
  • This giveaway includes the custom angled & powder coated plate, attached Rugged ridge clips
  • As this was a one off custom plate, never to be mass produced again, only 2 were made. So we have only 1 to giveaway.

So if you're interested in our custom Maglite relocation mounting plate (as seen in our blog post link above), with updated mounting clips as offered by Rugged Ridge, goto our site, and register with our community blog site (instructions on the page) and follow our twitter page for the winner announcement.

Good Luck to all those who entered and to all those who end up actually blogging on our Jeep Overland Journals community blog page.
