I think the overwhelming majority of cops are good guys, and I think the bad ones need to be weeded out to protect the good ones. That's not a discussion to be had on the day we set aside to honor the good men and women who protect our communities.
On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day we're supposed to acknowledge and salute the folks putting themselves in harm's way for our protection, and if you can't salute them, at least hit your pause button until the next day.
Regarding disarming the police, I think manning is one of the people who should be thanking God police exist. He is hated by many, and if there was no rule of law, I'm betting he's on the short list of scores to settle for a lot of people.
