you guys and gals that spend a lot of time in tha snow, on gloves question

we had about 10" today which for us is a event, we might get 2 " every 4 to 5 years, most times none, but anyway, bout 83 i had both hands frostbit, nails went black and fell off ect, anyway, seems like now, everytime i try to work out in snow, one of the things that really bothers me is my finger tips. burn like they are on fire, im talkin if i just bounce outside to grab a armload of firewood ect.
Ive tried the old wool glove liners under leather work gloves, not as bad but no dexterity. looking for a decent work glove, nothing specialized or electric, just something im able to work in and not have the distraction of shoving my hands in my pockets every 5 minutes.
need a glove that i will have enough movement to pick up tools.

seems like the older i get, the more aggravating its getting.was out about 4 hours ago for about 20 minutes, and feels like ive whacked em all with a hammer.
