How much is the Mexican Border wall going to cost?

So, the wall is 1,954 miles and will cost 5.7 Billion US Dollars..

That breaks down to $2,917,093 per mile..

Sources say the wall only has to be about 500 miles..

500 miles at 5.7 Billion US Dollars works out to $11,400,000 per mile..

If we built another Hoover Damn today, it would be in the neighborhood of $750,000,000 US Dollars.

Here's an idea.. Just build a wall around Califorsky and give Cali to Mexico. Imagine the money that would save. If we tell them they can have Cali but, they have to build a wall around it to keep liberals out, there's be about a million Mexicans heading for Cali with concrete tools in hand ready to work..

Remember what Jim Bowie said from the wall around the Alamo all those years ago when the Mexicans attacked.. "Did somebody order landscapers??"

I'm not against Mexicans coming to America. Have you ever seen a Mexican holding a cardboard sign along the interstate that says "Tired, Hungry, Homeless, God Bless"? Their work ethic is awesome. If the job they're working at won't feed their family, they don't go looking for handouts from the government, they go and find another job, and another until they're getting the money they need to live on.

One idea I have is to send all the busses we can find to the border and load them up with able bodied Mexicans, then drive them to places like Oakland, CA, Detroit, MI and any other large city that has fallen into ruin and tell them "Fix this city and you can live here.", then load the busses up with all the welfare abusers and drug pushers and send them back to Mexico and kick them out of the busses. THEN we build a wall..
