Pork pellets

Ever seen these things?

They are dried pork skin pellets that are sold to pork rind making companies.

You can deep fry, air fry, and even microwave them into pork rind snacks.

They seem to appear very shelf stable. I'm thinking they might store well in mylar with O2As.

They might be handy to put away as a dry protein source.

They can get up to $10 a pound, but bulk supplies drop to about $5/lb. Your average party size cooked pork rind bag is about $3 and is about 4 ounces in weight. So you could make the equal of 4 large pork rind bags for $5 if you bought in bulk.
