Rent cancellation...will it catch on in capitalist America?

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/ar...l-rent/611059/

A landlord in L.A. once told me that he liked renting to illegals. He said he can get much more rent from illegal's that split high rent and are used to living cramped up as compared to 1 or 2 Americans renting an apartment that complain about every little thing. He said he never hears from the illegals other than to pay the rent. No complaints.

Just on the news was someone that said why not delay the rent until your stimulus check comes in. Sounds out of touch, typical dem or rep political brain at work.

What good is $1200 after 2 or 3 months of $1500 - $2000 a month rent in arrears+ living expenses??

Going back to the illegal loving landlord...

He would flourish under the replacement theory. Evict all Americans than can't pay rent and replace with illegals that can pay a higher rent on a per person pro-rata basis. Money is god in the USA. Marx is smiling.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
