Daniel Boone national forest or Great Smoky mountains?I'll be making my annual pilgrimage down and through Dixie in about a month or so and was planning on going on some Appalachian hikes and was wondering based on other peoples experiences which one would be better? I was in Chatty last year for a few days, I wouldn't mind living around there. Anyway I'm fixin on doing some good hikes and maybe some camping around there. I've never camped or hiked in Appalachia territory. What would be some good trail heads in Daniel Boone national forest or great smoky mountains? Thanks for any input.
