Does a divining rod really work to look for water , what type of wood would a person use to look for water . Once when I was a kid I remember my dad had some kind of a stick with a Y and he found water in the yard but we had a breakthrough bed rock . Don't know if it was luck or if it worked . I should've paid more attention but I was a dumb kid ! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated .happy trails
