Washing your hydration pack

I have a platypus 2L that I attach to my sawyer. I clean it after every time I backpack (and use it). I don't like the camel bake myself. I hear some people rinse them, then, stick them in the fridge until the next time they use it.

Fill it up with water, put a cap of bleach in it, shake it up, let it sit for an hour or two, then drain, rinse, and let sit for a few days to completely dry out.
